The Margaux Matrix Product Placement (MMPP) measurement system takes the process and techniques used in tracking brand exposure in televised sport, and applies them to Product Placement measurement.

Using the Magellan™ detection system and Margaux Matrix's bespoke analytics we can offer a service to clients that allows them to accurately assess the ROI on their placements.

We track the size, duration, screen location and number of brand “hits” as standard. We can also measure context i.e. foreground, background and verbal mentions.

In addition, all quality factors such as size, position on screen are weighted, according to Margaux Matrix standards or specific client requirements ready to have the advertising equivalent valuations applied.

Valuations can be sourced via Margaux Matrix, via advertising agencies or we can use client supplied advertising costs.

Reports can be supplied in any format (excel, pdf) and are usually turned around within five working days.

MMPP Reports start at £150 per hour of programming, and they include recording, reporting and verification discs of all reported data.

Margaux Matrix can also offer consultation services in determining likely values for potential placements using our blank “spaces” modelling technique.

Product Placement successes will ultimately be determined on their sales pull-through and level of brand awareness generated. The MMPP system provides the essential platform for clients to verify that they got what they paid for and whether it can be improved upon.
